How We Hang Our Boards

How We Hang Our Boards

No frames. No damage. No stress.

I get this question all the time:
“How do you actually hang your boards?”

Whether you're using a magnetic board on your fridge or mounting one to the wall, here's exactly how we do it—and what’s worked best over time.

🧲 Fridge Installation (Magnetic Boards)

  1. Clean the surface with glass cleaner so the anti-skid rings grip properly.

  2. Lay the board face-down on a soft, clean surface (keep protective film on for now).

  3. Peel back just 1" of the protective film at each corner—just enough to expose the mounting holes.

  4. Insert the magnet caps through the front and fasten the anti-skid rings to the back.

  5. Finish peeling off the rest of the protective film.

  6. Place the board on your fridge and push firmly on the acrylic (not the cap) at each corner to secure.

⚠️ To remove the board, never pull the cap from the front. Instead, gently push from behind.

🔩 Wall Installation (Drywall or Solid Surfaces)

  1. Choose a flat wall surface where you want your visual hub.

  2. Hold the board in place and mark the magnet hole locations with a pencil.

  3. Drill pilot holes and insert the included wall anchors.

  4. Screw in the included screws—leaving the flat tops exposed.

  5. The magnetic caps attach to the screw heads, making your board easy to put up, take down, or reposition.

✨ Tips & Alternatives

  • In rental spaces, many families use Command hooks, small photo ledges, or lean boards against a wall or shelf.

  • The included anti-skid rings help prevent slipping or spinning.

  • Want to use your board in a tighter space? Try mounting on the side of a cabinet or inside a closet door.
