Why I Created the Monthly Calendar

This was the very first product I ever made—for my son, Beckham.

When he was younger, daily surprises led to stress, meltdowns, and anxiety. Transitions were tough, and big events (even fun ones!) could feel overwhelming. What he needed most was predictability—and a way to visually understand what was coming next.

So I built him a simple calendar, right on our fridge. It gave him structure. It gave us peace.

And it sparked the beginning of Fern Family Co.
